As I wait here in Arrivals,
the minutes start to drag,
Why does it always take so long.
to unload a freakin bag?

Lost a poetfriend this week
He saw life as GodGift & grace
Bore Crosses heavy,steep
Stared Death in its face
He earned his better place

I sometimes wonder what its like,
to have never loved at all,
to have missed those dizzy heights,
means to miss the crushing fall.

Cost of Battle…triteness
Next to War’s bloody blightness
Yet,sometimes we call to Mind
Cost of Freedom always priceless!

If less is truly more,
should the rich strive to be poor,
should each man avoid his best,
in pursuit of, quite frankly, less?

Scoped the world in my peripheral
Saw the sad ‘n dispicable
I looked straight ahead
Saw 2 men shot dead
Hate…so multi-dimensional.
